I just want to share!

This photo was so dark and you could hardly see that sweet smile I got. I was so bummed. Then I was playing with it and voila! It is this specialness that makes my heart beat faster. Now I have to recreate it in like 2 other pics that are the same way... Hope I can do it so I have a set for my walls!

Shoot -N- Tell - Bokeh

I have been waiting for the opportunity to share this picture! I took it during the summer in my Aunt's garden. I wasn't shooting for much of anything particular, just enjoying the beautiful day and sun while my hubby shot his bow.

Trendy Treehouse - Cakes

I'm pretty sure this is my first Trendy Treehouse entry. I don't have a huge archive already digitalized (tons of film archives though!), so I rarely have a photo that works or time to edit and post one. Time is my enemy these past few weeks/months.

That said I remembered a wedding I took pics at for a friend years ago. Makes me sad to see some of these pics. Out of focus, white balance off, flash, and even shadows from my hand blocking the flash. :-( That said I found this photo that is not great at first glance, but with inspiration from Ashley at Ramblings and Photos I tried to salvage it. I think it is looking a little vintage. Hope you all like it!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Yet again I am behind. This time it is not teething, but a slight ear infection which makes it impossible for M to sleep without Tylenol. We didn't get to the pedi until yesterday so no sleep from Friday night on. But yes, I got everything edited and uploaded! So here we go...

1. Wish/Dream

This is from the archives, but only about two weeks ago. I still wonder what it is he is dreaming about when he smiles in his sleep.

2. Clean

Bath time is lots of fun for us! We have toys and a water fall from the shower.

3. Currency

This is M's Pioneer Fund, so that when he grows up he can either Pioneer or if he so chooses goes to trade school.

4. Pair

Booties somebody gave us for M that I have never used since I like to see M's feet cause they are so cute! It is a good thing there are a lot of babies being born soon!

5. Square

I had a "Square" picture, but somehow it came out all wrong on the comp. So I had to re-shoot which I am glad of since I love this one much more!

You Capture - Signs

This is way late, just because my son has been teething and it's not been easy to find the time to process and post these! They were taken by last Monday. So sad, but here they are anyways.


This was at the Oregon State Fair. I was taking the Airtram to get my landscape picture when I saw this sign! I laughed and got this picture.


I pass this sign all the time, but it totally surprised me when I was coming up on it and I almost didn't get this picture!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

It is Sunday again! Yay!

Time for another scavenger hunt, and here it goes!

#1 Red

This is different from my POTW red photo. My mother-in-law loves cinnamon Jolly Ranchers and I had some time while she was getting something and my M was sleeping!

#2 Home-space

My M is my home, my life and my love. This is the first time he pulled himself up.

#3 Fence

This fence once stood straight. Then my dogs figured out they could jump over it and have bent it down and no amount of propping makes it work to keep the dogs in!

#4 Rock

This is my wedding ring. It is an amethyst, so it is soft and scratches easily. I love it though and wouldn't trade those scratches for anything!

#5 Sharp

My Hubby is currently hunting for elk, but he got a deer Friday night and my father-in-law cut it and stored it tonight. This is his hunting knife.
